Exercise is often viewed as a leisure activity, especially when we initially start exercising or aren't exercising with the intent to increase our performance in a certain sector of fitness. What do we mean by "leisure"? The term leisure, in this case, means without intent, purpose or meaningfulness. To put it simply, we are just checking off the boxes of our workout program or exercise list and not moving like we mean it! We aren't "in it" mentally!
So, what, exercise is meant to be enjoyed and to be fun - right?
Yes - that is correct, but, in order to reap the full benefits of our exercise routines/programs (APEX or otherwise) we have to MOVE LIKE WE MEAN IT - by moving like you mean it and completing your exercise routines with the intent to improve and reach your chosen goal(s), you will build the physicality and mental toughness needed to bust through your sticking points with relative ease. This will ensure that when the going gets tough, you do not waiver or falter - it will ensure you continue to drive all the way to, and CRUSH your goals!
